Our consulting services for non-profit organizations (non-profit corporations such as foundations and associations, public corporations such as municipalities, universities, institutions under public law (AöR) as well as professional associations) cover all consulting areas of these organizations, in particular those related to taxation. We regularly advise non-profit organizations right from the start of their establishment with regard to their statutory structure and financing. The use of funds and the integration of economic activities, but also the outsourcing of taxable activities and special-purpose operations as well as the possibil-ities and limits of asset management regularly play a role in advising non-profit organizations.

Further topics in the context of advising non-profit organizations may also be the establishment of performance-rights organization, in particular in the granting of licenses.

Tax consulting areas for non-profit organizations regularly arise in the case of continuing education institutions as well as in the case of research activities of the public sector and by non-profit corporations.

We assist companies with their activities abroad. We advise on the establishment of foreign com-panies or foreign operations (“outbound“) as well as the reverse case of investments by foreign companies in Germany (“inbound”).

Our advisory services range from questions regarding the financing of foreign activities, the structuring of contractual relationships between domestic and foreign companies and the deployment of foreign employees in the reorganization and sale of foreign companies.

In addition, our legal expertise is also at your disposal for all questions arising in connection with e-commerce, in particular the numerous VAT implications of trading abroad. Our advice for private individuals in the context of asset succes-sion includes both lifetime asset transfers by way of gift (antici-pated succession) and asset succession by reason of death. We advise you on the drafting of gift contracts, including waivers of inheritance and compulsory portions, and on the drafting of wills and inheritance contracts.

In addition, we enforce your in-terests in inheritance contests (mediative or contentious) and execution of wills.

To legally secure your interests in a marriage, we draft and re-view your prenuptial agreement, taking into account the conse-quences under tax law.
